About Holy Family
Holy Family Classical Academy is an independent Roman Catholic classical school located in Lacey, Washington, serving families for over 50 years. The time-tested classical model of education forms the whole person: mind, body and spirit. Holy Family students embrace truth, goodness, and beauty, discover the timeless tools of learning and live a life of virtue, from Kindergarten Prep. through 8th grade. Beginning in wonder and ending in wisdom, students learn from the greatest minds and works of Western Civilization. Both the primary sources we read, as well as the creation we surround ourselves with, root and ground us so we can grow and flourish. Spiritual Formation

Our studies take place under the light of the Catholic Faith and lead us back to it. Through the life of grace, we come closer to God, the author of all truth, goodness, and beauty. At Holy Family, students frequent the sacraments and participate in community prayer. As an outpouring of gratitude for God's gifts, students give back to their local community.

Extracurricular Activities

Students can explore their interests and develop skills through clubs, sports, and the arts. From sourdough baking, gardening, and chess, to cross country running, kayaking, and painting, life abounds at Holy Family.

Classical Academics

Our curriculum is designed to promote wonder, critical thinking, and a love for learning within the liberal arts and sciences. Both the study of Latin, as well as the Great Books and Good Books collections penned by the greatest authors of Western Civilization, provide formative catalysts to this end. Beautiful poetry, art, and music, enrich, enliven, and fill out our academic life.

We started our 4-year-old here and we're so impressed with the individualized, caring approach that we moved our two older kids to Holy Family the next year. It's a small school, and that means the entire staff knows your kids and the teachers always get back to you.
